  Due to fire restriction precautions at Sullivan Lake, our October 2025 launch will take place at our backup site in Hanna, Alberta.
  

  Event Overview

  Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025 (one-day launch)
  Flyers’ Meeting: 9:00–9:30 AM
  Flights: Motors A–M, with an expected altitude ceiling of up to 20,000 ft AGL (weather/airspace permitting).

  Registration & Fees

  • Range Pass: $35

  • Registration and inspection begin early — please arrive in time for the flyers’ meeting.

  • Already registered for Sullivan Lake? Your registration carries over automatically.

  Important Notes

  • If you are planning a Level 4 attempt or a flight over 20,000 ft, please inform the Launch Organizer .

  • All flights must comply with CAR/ACF Safety Code and Range Safety Officer directions.

  • A valid CAR/ACF membership card is required for high-power flyers.

  25/08/2025 update: Due to the extreme wildfire risk in New Brunswick, CFB Gagetown is closed to all recreational activities. Consequently, this year’s Rage at the Gage will not take place over the Labour Day weekend as originally planned. We have rescheduled the launch to the Thanksgiving long weekend in October pending approval from CFB Gagetown and Transport Canada.
  

  Rage at the Gage is NB Rocketry's premier HPR launch event of the year. The launch will be held in CFB Gagetown, New Brunswick, over the Thanksgiving long weekend (Oct 10 - 12th).

  Registration cost (register online by Oct 5th):

  For High Power: $30 (covers all three days)

  For Low and Mid Power: $5 per day

  Spectator only:  Free

• Calgary Rocketry Club Model Rocket Launch

  The Marlborough Park location is a Low-power launch site within Calgary city limits. The event is hosted by the Calgary Rocketry club.

  REGISTRATION AND INSPECTION START AT 9:30AM

  The City of Calgary has issued a permit to Calgary Rocketry to use the park on scheduled events as a model rocket launch site, and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR/ACF) has approved the site for use by CAR/ACF members.

  The park is NOT authorized as an ad-hoc model launch site by the public!

  Launch events are intended to occur once a month, from Apr to October. Planned launches will be announced in advance of the event.

  Note: There are no services on site, but this is within Calgary, so within a short drive of pretty much anything.

  Model Rocket Range Fees:

  Range pass included with Calgary Rocketry Club Membership

  $10 – Guest Fliers (Model Rockets)

  (Includes a basic event-day membership to fly under club supervision.)

  Model and High Power rocket launch. Open to the public.  Motor sizes A to M with a ceiling of 20,000 AGL.  Any flight with motor larger then a "L", weighing more then 10 kg, or flying higher then 12,000' please contact organizers a least 2 weeks prior to confirm if we can accommodate your project.  Fliers must have a valid CAR-ACF membership to fly.
