It's that time of year again: Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on March 1st, 2026, at 1:00 PM Mountain Time via MS Teams. Check your email for the meeting link!

This year, we are delighted to have Adam Trumpour (Founder and President of Launch Canada and an experienced aerospace industry professional) join us as a guest speaker. Adam has been heavily involved in the consultation with Transport Canada on the modernization of the current regulatory framework for rocketry in Canada.

Talk details: 

From HPR to orbit: building sovereign space launch from the grassroots. As Canada embarks on a major effort to build domestic space launch capability for the first time, I'll take a look at how the Canadian amateur rocketry movement has been driving this and bridging the gap between the hobby and professional world, and how Transport Canada's high power rocketry guidelines are evolving to support this.

Please ensure your membership is up to date so you can participate fully. This year, Marc Chatel will be stepping down from the position of Vice President. Layne C. Pelechytik has been nominated to be his successor. You can read his candidate statement here.

Please forward any nominations for open board positions to memberships@canadianrocketry.org and we will circulate a list ahead of the meeting. As is standard practice, nominations will be accepted from the floor but we'd prefer to have a list in advance of the meeting.
