Cancelled due to Weather - Rage at the Gage 2026 (4 Sep 2026)

Sept 2, 2026: Unfortunately due to anticipated inclement weather conditions we have today made the difficult decision to fully cancel the launch.

There is currently a weather statement calling for significant rainfall at the launch site on Thursday and Friday with precipitation expected to continue throughout the day Saturday. This is also expected to be accompanied by a prolonged period of high winds starting early on Saturday and lasting through to the planned end of the launch on Sunday. We see very little chance of being able to successfully launch any rockets unless there are significant changes in the forecast, which at this stage is unlikely.

Those who have already paid their launch fees will be refunded. We apologize for any inconveniences caused as we know some of you had made arrangements to travel from Quebec to attend. We invite you all to attend our next launch in Gagetown which will likely be taking place on the Victoria Day weekend in May 2027.

Rage at the Gage is NB Rocketry's premier HPR launch event of the year. The launch will be held in CFB Gagetown, New Brunswick, over the Labour Day long-weekend (Friday-Sunday, Sept. 4-6).

Launch Fees:

High-power: $40

Low and mid-power: $15

Camping: $5/night

Model and High Power rocket launch. Open to the public. Motor sizes A to M with a ceiling of 20,000 AGL. Any flight with motor larger then a "L", weighing more then 10 kg, or flying higher then 12,000' please contact organizers a least 2 weeks prior to confirm if we can accommodate your project. Fliers must have a valid CAR-ACF membership to fly.
